Normand has been making his marinated mushrooms for 16 years. In the past the mushrooms have been marketed through Root 44 Produce, located at 604 School Street, Putnam, CT 860-928-3663. Normand along with his partner Cindy owned
Root 44 Produce for 22 years. The business was sold to Shawn and Mara Tessier, Normand's son and daughter-in-law in October 2004. While the established Produce business carries on with the family name, selling the business allowed Normand more time to market his food line.
Normand marinates button gourmet mushrooms in his special marinate.

Recently he added another product, coated cashews.
